#multidisciplined

I am part of the generation that grew up with the digital revolution back in the early 90’s. Attracted to the digital world, I’ve been creating web and app design projects in collaboration with mndshpd since 2008. An enjoyable user experience is what I foster, thus it’s important to me to keep the user in the center of the design process when I create solutions for products or services.

When it comes to medical illustration, this is how I satisfy my curiosity for science. Since 2013, I have created more than 3’000 reproducible illustrations in close collaboration with an expert in this field and through observation. I am trained to understand complex scientific findings and communicate them to any audience in an accessible visual way. Knowing that I contribute to health care through my work makes me happy.

Not less than that I’m (salt) water addicted. I’m a photographer, who loves to dive into the liquid and refreshen from the constructed world of design. It’s personal and that’s where my stories, sensations and thoughts are found. The art of photography to me, means how I keep the balance and live the present. Capturing fragments is like branding it and honoring the beauty, which is often taken for granted.

In or around water I’m most inspired.

It’s where I feel most connected to mother earth.

It’s where I find energy.

It’s where I’m fulfilled.
